What AOGCrew does
AOGCrew operates an aviation maintenance support network. It introduces qualified aviation maintenance professionals to Part-145 organizations for short-term technical support engagements.
What AOGCrew does not do
AOGCrew does not hold any maintenance organization approval. AOGCrew does not certify, approve, authorize, employ, supervise, or release maintenance work. AOGCrew does not issue Certificates of Release to Service. AOGCrew does not assume technical liability for maintenance outputs.
Where responsibility sits
Maintenance liability, technical decisions, supervision, competence assessment, internal authorizations, quality oversight, and airworthiness release remain with the client Part-145 organization, in accordance with the organization's approved procedures and the conditions of its EASA Part-145 approval.
This arrangement is the standard subcontracting model contemplated by Part-145.A.75(b).
Documentation
Every aviation maintenance professional listed on AOGCrew has submitted documentation for completeness review. AOGCrew does not certify the technical competence of any professional. Competence assessment and engagement authorization remain with the client organization.
Insurance
All maintenance activity falls under the client Part-145 organization's insurance and regulatory framework. AOGCrew additionally holds general liability insurance covering its own operations.
